An acclaimed star in hip hop and electronic music known for creating music for animated television shows will be playing live in Melbourne later this year.
Fans of rap from Box Hill South are in for a treat in June as the Forum Melbourne has announced it will be presenting LA hip hop producer, DJ and performer,Flying Lotus at a single-night show in June. Music venues hosting both international and national artists often reach out to poster printing services to create commanding advertisements that attract the right kind of attention.
Known as FlyLo to his fans, the multi-talented Steven Ellison has many strings to his bow. From filmmaking and providing soundtracks for cartoons and anime to rapping and founding his own record label Brainfeeder, the artist has earned a reputation for versatility.
To date he has released seven albums in the studio, with the first being “1983” and his most recent recording from last year entitled Yasuke, which comprised of the score he created for the Netflix series of the same name. Last year he released two singles, "The Room" and "You Don't Know" featuring Devin Tracy.
Flying Lotus will be on stage at the Forum Melbourne on Saturday, June 17. The live event venue is located at 154 Flinders Street in Melbourne and the show will begin at 8pm.
