Radio star to speak at business lunch

Media personality Kate Langbroek will be the guest speaker at the next Whitehorse Women in Business luncheon.

The event is being organised by the Whitehorse Business Group, which fosters links between the city’s 8,000 business operators and advocates on their behalf.

Langbroek is a well-known radio presenter, television host, actress, and writer. She spent 12 years co-hosting the breakfast show on the popular Nova 100 radio station in Melbourne, and currently writes for Sunday Style magazine.

The media star is also known for balancing her successful career with raising a family, and recently spoke publicly about her eldest son’s battle with leukaemia.

As well as listening to an inspiring speech and enjoying good food, the lunch will also be a great opportunity to meet other professionals from around the area and potentially develop some new business relationships.

Attendees from Box Hill South should make sure their business card printing is professional and up to date with their most recent contact details, in case they wish to swap details with other participants or even with Kate herself.

The lunch takes place at the Box Hill Golf Club on Thursday 22nd May, from midday to 2pm. Tickets are available to Group members at a discounted rate, but non-members are also welcome to attend. For more information and to book a place, visit the Whitehorse Business Group’s website.
