Business owners from Box Hill South can brush up their skills and update their knowledge next month as the annual Whitehorse Business Week takes place.
The event is in its 14th year and has proved popular with local entrepreneurs, with over 1,000 business owners, managers, and staff expected to attend this year.
There will be five events held over the week, each looking at a different aspect of business and the current economic climate, with three taking place in Box Hill.
On Tuesday, August 12th, participants can enjoy a dinner at Box Hill Golf Club with speakers including Russell Zimmerman, executive director of the Australian Retailers Association.
The following day, it is the turn of female entrepreneurs to take centre stage, with a luncheon and expo aimed at promoting the many female business leaders in the city. The speaker will be comedian and author Jane Kennedy.
On Friday, August 15th, Louise Adler, chief executive officer of Melbourne University Publishing, will speak on the importance of being a strong leader.
The events are fantastic networking opportunities and anyone thinking of attending should make sure they have a made an order for business card printing before they go, so they can present a professional image to others.
Whitehorse Business Week runs from Monday, August 11th to Friday, August 15th. For more information, visit the Whitehorse City Council website.
