Open to members of the art group, the exhibition will feature original works that include some flora – plants or flowers.
According to a spokesperson, the group last exhibited in 2019 when 49 paintings by 12 members were showcased. They added:
"Our stands were on level one inside the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building together with works from approximately 12 other local art groups."
The spokesperson said the event provided a fantastic opportunity for local artists who were financial members of the Box Hill Art Group to promote the organisation, while also putting their works on display to the estimated 100,000 people who attended the show.
Poster printing campaigns have often helped to promote major exhibitions such as Melbourne's garden and flower show.
Artists can submit up to six artworks, and all works put on display must for available for sale. The maximum size of each painting, including the frame, must not exceed 70cm by 70cm.
The spokesman said the show will be held from 30 March to 3 April. All entry Forms are required to be submitted by 6 February, and the finished artworks delivered on 18 March between 9am and 9pm or 22 March from 6pm to 9pm.
