Healthy feet workshop to come to Box Hill South

Box Hill South locals are preparing for the Healthy Feet Workshop, which is coming to the suburb in August.

The workshop will be facilitated by Bolton Clarke. Bolton Clarke is Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider. A professional from the organisation will deliver the workshop.

The workshop will provide helpful foot health facts to seniors.

Attendees can learn how to keep their feet healthy. They will look at how to avoid injuries. They’ll also explore how to look after ageing feet. The facilitator will explore with attendees when they might need to see a podiatrist.

The workshop will look at footwear health. It will explore what people need to check when buying new shoes, to make sure that they fit correctly. It will also discuss foot health facts. Diabetes and the impact it has on feet will be a strong focus.
