Motorcycle enthusiasts will be in their element at the Melbourne Convention Centre next weekend, with the Australian Motorcycle Expo.
More than 130 exhibitors will be at the event displaying accessories and bike-related products, as well as motorcycles themselves. Among the big name brands on show will be KTM, BMW and Ducati.
Box Hill South residents who like thrills and spills should visit the Action Arena, which will feature the world’s longest running professional freestyle motocross team performing daredevil stunts and skills from freestyle trial riders the Flair Entertainment Team - which featured on Australia’s Got Talent this year.
For more serious bikers, another stage will host experts and industry leaders talking about the latest developments and products. Special guests include three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and 2012 Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters. UK couple Simon and Lisa Thomas will also be visiting the show as part of their attempt to circumnavigate the globe on motorcycles.
Among the exhibitors will be ReTyred Furniture, which takes used truck and car tyres and turns them into outdoor and home furniture. The Byron Bay-based company has produced a special chair for the expo that uses white-wall tyres from a Harley Davidson.
With a huge range of motorbikes and products from which to choose, catalogue printing will help visitors keep track of everything they like and get ideas for future purchases.
The Australian Motorcycle Expo is being held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from Friday, November 23 to Sunday, November 25.
