Women from Box Hill South looking to get back into the workforce can take advantage of a special seminar to help this month.
The Whitehorse Business Group has organised the session to help local women who want to return to work or start their own business.
The free event will feature three key speakers, as well as the chance to meet like-minded women and discuss ideas.
Leanne Harrison from Adecco, who spent a number of years as a stay-at-home mother before returning to employment herself, will speak about growing sectors that are looking for new employees, as well how to produce a CV and perform well in interviews.
Lu Cheng from Robinson Gill Lawyers, and Rabintha Gunaratnam from Saward Dawson Chartered Accountants will discuss the legal and financial aspects of setting up a home-based business, while Ali Parker from Parker Consulting will talk about how to decide on a career path and what steps need to be taken to follow it.
Women thinking of returning to work might like to ask a professional printing company to produce Copies of their CV, or even digital Business Cards to give to potential employers or financial backers for a new business.
The seminar takes place on Thursday, June 11 at Box Hill Town Hall from 9.15 AM to midday. For more information, or to book a place, contact the Whitehorse Business Group.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Copies
