Dolly model search returns to Australia

In 1997 a teenager by the name of Miranda Kerr claimed first prize in the Dolly model search. Since then she has catapulted to fame as a Victoria's Secret Angel and Orlando Bloom's wife. Dolly is a magazine that is targeted towards a pre-teen and teen audience. It had been hosting yearly model searches on a regular basis until its hiatus on 2002. The magazine has recently announced that they are to bring the contest back in 2012.

Aspiring models should take the time out to attend casting calls. Some of these events will be held quite far away. For example the heat in Victoria will be held at Fountain Gate in Melbourne. This means that contestants from areas like Box Hill South will need to travel. As most contestants will be under the age of 18, they will need parental consent.

It is worth noting that contestants will have to meet the eligibility criteria to compete. This means that they must fit within the height and age requirements.

As the contest has been out of action for ten years, many people will not know that it is on. One of these best ways to promote it is to use printing services to create Flyers and Brochures. These can then be sent out to girls that the magazine has on their database. Those who are planning on attending the event will need to sort out their travel arrangements within the next couple of weeks. The casting calls begin in early March.
