Whether an innovative business owner in Box Hill South or a secondary student at one of the city’s schools, entries are invited together with those from residents, tertiary students and businesses throughout Whitehorse.
A Council spokesperson said the time is right to introduce a Logo Design that truly reflected the new Box Hill which has undergone many changes during the past decade to become a diverse, vibrant community with a dynamic business centre, adding:
“Who better to come up with a logo that truly reflects Box Hill than the local businesses and people that live and study there?”
Developed in 2008, the current logo for Box Hill was designed to represent Box Hill’s dynamic mixing pot/wok which encompassed the diversity of locals together with its cafes, restaurants, retail, food, railway hub and all with an element of fun.
Since its introduction, there has been unprecedented change and growth within the Box Hill Metropolitan Activity Centre, driven by development and private investment. According to the spokesman, Box Hill’s branding now needs to become more corporate.
The successful Logo Design will be seen across a wide range of applications such as newsletters, Banners, Brochures, T-Shirts, flags, shop front window decals and reusable Bags.
