Rotaract Region 9810 will hold their annual Changeover event at the Box Hill Golf Club in July.
The Changeover event occurs at the beginning of each new financial year, with Box Hill South being the location for this year’s meeting. The event incorporates a review of the past year’s activities, but will also involve the selection of a new President and the voting-in of a new team of office-bearers. This team will include a Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, as well as other sub-committee chairs as required. With these many changes, there may be a need for the printing of new Letterheads and Business Cards to streamline proceedings for the coming year.
Rotaract is a worldwide society of students and professionals between the ages of 18 and 30 who are passionate about helping others, learning new ideas and creating a better world. The organisation began in March 1968 in the US, and three months later arrived in Australia. It currently has a presence in 184 countries.
The organisation has been instrumental in improving communities around the world by establishing youth facilities, running health camps, starting food programs at schools, and assisting the unemployed to find work, along with many other projects.
The Changeover event will be held on Saturday, July 22 at 3pm at the Box Hill Golf Club, 202 Station Street, Box Hill South. Tickets will cost $29 each.
