Box Hill South area to welcome beloved market

Residents in Box Hill South and surrounding suburbs are preparing for the Whitehorse Farmers Market, which is coming to the area in July.

The market is a stalwart of the region and has been operated by volunteers from the combined Whitehorse Rotary Group since 2006.

Locals can enjoy farm-sourced, fresh and organic products at the market, which also gives suppliers another avenue for business in the area.

Attendees can browse the variety of stores, which will sell a diverse range of produce including fruit, vegetables, pasta, bread, cakes and olive oil.

Freshly brewed coffee and bacon and egg sandwiches will be on offer throughout the day.

As a Rotary event, all funds raised by the organisers of the market will go to community projects in the Whitehorse area.

Organisers of community markets can promote their events with brochure printing. Brochures are a useful, eye-catching way of presenting information and event details.

The Whitehorse Farmers Market will be held on Sunday, July 13, at the Whitehorse Civic Centre, which can be found at 379 Whitehorse Road in Nunawading. The market will begin at 8:00AM and conclude at 1:00PM. The market is a “plastic bag free market”, so attendees are asked to bring their own reusable Bags to take their purchases home. For more information about the market, interested parties can visit the Box Hill Burwood Rotary website.
