One of Melbourne’s premier live music venues will extend a warm welcome to a two-night run of rock concerts from an iconic British band.
Heavy metal devotees in Box Hill South and other Melbourne suburbs won’t want to miss an upcoming extravaganza in the city this September. For two nights in a row, UK metal veterans Iron Maiden will be playing live in concert at the Rod Laver Arena. The pair of shows are part of the band’s Future Past Tour and will see them supported by Massachusetts metalcore band Killswitch Engage.

The Future Past Tour will include tracks from Iron Maiden’s most recent album recorded in the studio called “Senjutsu”, but also their seminal 1986’s recording “Somewhere in Time”. Understandably, the set will also be peppered with fan favourite and crowd pleasers. To date the tour has played to more than 750,000 fans at over 30 sold-out shows around the world.
Iron Maiden will now appear at the Rod Laver Arena on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. The arena is situated at 200 Batman Avenue in Melbourne and the show will start at 7.30 pm.
