Businesses in Box Hill South and throughout the City of Whitehorse are being invited to attend a Boost Your Business programme, run by the council.
The innovative classes, created especially for business owners, will be facilitated individually by Small Business Victoria, the ATO and ASBAS’ Digital Solutions.
Held annually, the programme targets all businesses, no matter what size, and explores topics that are particularly relevant and appropriate to the business community in the local area, according to Whitehorse Councillor Tina Liu, who added:
“Council keeps the events either free or low cost, and this programme is a very popular one each year. The business world is ever evolving and has changed dramatically in a very short time in recent years. Boost Your Business is designed to help business owners and staff keep on top of their sectors and enjoy the time they spend building and improving their businesses.”
This year’s Boost Your Business programme, which will provide an ideal opportunity for the exchange of Business Cards, will be held from March 18 to 22 in the Willis Room at the Whitehorse Civic Centre in Nunawading.
The cost of each course ranges from no charge to $55, with the average being $20.
Topics set out to help participating business owners take their operations to the next level include Marketing Your Business, Single Touch Payroll, Effective Business Networking, Business Planning Essentials, Cyber Security for Small Business, and Taking Your Business Online.
