Business owners from Box Hill South and around the City of Whitehorse can improve their skills next month with help from the council’s Boost Your Business programme.
The popular series is run every year and includes sessions on a range of business topics from industry experts.
This year, subjects include tax for small businesses, planning for a crisis, and how change can be beneficial for business.
On Tuesday, March 8, Box Hill South firms can book appointments with the Australian Small Business Advisory Service at Box Hill Town Hall to get their questions answered.
A special breakfast will also be held on Wednesday, March 16 with a panel discussion on how local businesses can connect with the community to benefit both groups.
The panel includes Murray Keen, HR Manager from Eastlink, which runs an award-winning employee volunteer programme; Simon Wheelton from Budget Rental, which runs community and charity events, and Soraya Dean from the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Attendees might like to take along digital Business Cards so that they can exchange their details, as the workshops and seminars are likely to be good networking opportunities for all who attend.
This year’s series runs from Monday, March 7 to Friday, March 11. To view the full programme or make a booking, visit the Whitehorse Business Group’s website.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
