Box Hill Institute will compete for the title in the categories of ‘Inclusive Training Provider of the Year’ and ‘Large Training Provider of the Year’. The Victorian Training Awards principal partners are the Global Apprenticeship Network and Apprenticeship Employment Network.
In revealing the 39 finalists, Training and Skills and Higher Education Minister Gayle Tierney said:
“These awards, now in their 65th year, put Victoria’s top vocational education and training performers in the spotlight and it’s fantastic to see so many women making the finals in this year’s awards.”
She said the awards are held to celebrate and inspire success. Winners of the 14 categories, which incorporate everything from individuals and employers to Lifetime Achievement awards, will receive $5,000 each.
The Victorian Training Awards are scheduled to be held in September and winners will then have a chance to represent their state in November at the Australian Training Awards to be held in Brisbane.
As well as providing a great opportunity for the exchange of Business Cards and networking, the national event has seen Victorian TAFE institutions shine, with the home state taking out the coveted Large Training Provider of the Year Award for Australia, for three consecutive years.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
