Locals in Box Hill South are preparing for an upcoming session on Advanced Care Planning, which is coming to the area in September.
Hosted by Palliative Care Victoria, the session explores the process of considering future health care preferences.
The one-hour session is geared towards people who want to learn how to be prepared for unexpected health complications. It will give them the tools to be able to take control of their own health.
The session will explore the importance of advanced care planning while also covering how to speak about future care with loved ones.
The workshop will explore how to choose and document preferences around the care received and the persons involved.
Attendees will learn how to make informed choices centred on their personal values.
The session will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A segment. This will feature an experienced facilitator from Palliative Care Victoria.
Organisers of community seminars can use flyer printing to advertise effectively in the local community. Flyers provide eye-catching and informative event information that generate interest.
The Advanced Care Planning session will be held on Wednesday, 17 September at the Craig Family Centre, 7 Samarinda Avenue, Ashburton. The session starts at 10:00 AM. Attendance is free, and light refreshments will be provided. Spaces are limited. To book, those interested can visit the Humanitix website.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
