Pop lovers from Slacks Creek will soon get a chance to celebrate a musical milestone in Loganholme.
Fans of ABBA in Slacks Creek will rejoice to hear a special celebration is headed for Fitzy’s in Loganholme. Just 11 minutes away from the City of Logan suburb, the well-established venue is hosting an event called “Gold – The Ultimate ABBA Show” in honour of half a century of “Mamma Mia!”, the hit-single from the group’s self-titled debut.
ABBA enthusiasts will know that "Mamma Mia" was released in Australia in September 1975 ahead of an international release two months later. The successful show promises all the excitement of a live ABBA show and first arrived on Australian shores in 2014. Since then, it has entertained more than 30,000 people with over 80 shows across the nation. It has played many famous locations including the State Theatre in Sydney.
Theatres, concert halls, and other music venues often order marketing materials that feature their Logo Design to boost their brand profile in surrounding suburbs. Tracks on the night will include “SOS”, “Waterloo” and “Dancing Queen” among others.
Gold- The Ultimate ABBA Show will be live on stage at Fitzy's Loganholme on Friday, September 19. The show begins at 8 pm and single admission is available for $39 with group saver tickets offered for just $34 (for groups of six people or more).
