A first-class comedian will soon be performing at a major events venue local to Slacks Creek.
Those looking for laughs in and around Brisbane won’t want to miss an upcoming show taking place in the city. For one night only in June, beloved comedian Urzila Carlson will be presenting her latest show entitled “Just Jokes” at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The upcoming show will be joint presented by Jubilee Street and Live Nation, and will see the three-time victor of the People’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival take centre stage.
A household name in Australia, Carlson is a familiar face on television on shows like “Have You Been Paying Attention?” and “Taskmaster NZ”. Last year, September saw the comic make her debut in the UK when she appeared in hit show QI as part of an overseas tour.
Carlson has also appeared at numerous stand-up events and galas including Montreal’s famous Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Urzila Carlson will now be on stage at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Southbank on Saturday, June 22. The show will start at 7 pm, and the exhibition centre is based on Merivale Street in South Brisbane.
