A hero of the hardcore music scene is playing a live show near Slacks Creek later this year.
Slacks Creek music fans will soon get their chance to see underground music bandleader Bob Mould on stage. The celebrated American singer-songwriter will be performing just 25 minutes away at The Triffid in nearby Newstead as part of an Australian tour with exclusive dates this summer.
Recording companies representing international artists often connect with skilled poster printing services to style up engaging adverts to promote world tours.
Mould’s return marks his first appearance in Australia in over a decade, and will see him perform three headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. A successful solo artist in his own right with 15 albums to his credit, Mould was also frontman for hardcore band Hüsker Dü and alt-pop rock three-piece Sugar.
Back in 2011, a tribute show was held in honour of the artist at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, which was attended by celebrated musicians like US singer-songwriter Ryan Adams and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters. Fans attending the upcoming show in Slacks Creek can expect to hear a set-list loaded with classic tracks from Mould’s extensive back catalogue.
Bob Mould will now be live in concert on Sunday, December 1 at The Triffid. The show will start at 7 pm and the venue is sited at 7/9 Stratton Street in Newstead.
