Inhabitants of Slacks Creek and those local to the area will have the chance to join in with some carolling and other festive activities at a community Christmas event taking place this December.
This local Christmas event will be family-oriented, and includes carol singing, a jumping castle, live music and a free barbecue. Children that are registered for the event and come along will also receive a present. This joyful occasion will be one that fully engenders the Christmas spirit of giving and caring for one another, within the family and the community at large.
Impact Care Services has organised the event. This organisation makes up part of the Impact Church, and offers support throughout the community to those in need. Some of their offerings include low-cost food, and they also manage programs in life skills such as budgeting, parenting and relationships. Often, flyer printing is used to produce advertisements for services that are relevant to the community.
The Community Christmas event takes place on Sunday 10 December at 5.30pm. The location is 3357 Highway, Slacks Creek, QLD 4127.
Tickets are free, but places should be booked in advance. Registered children that are in attendance will receive a small gift, courtesy of Ray White AKG. Dietary requirements must also be given in advance, as a barbecue will be provided on the day.
