Slacks Creek residents can expect a visit from some well-known Australian television stars, as the community prepares for the nearby annual Logan Eco Action Festival (LEAF).
Dedicated to conservation, sustainability and promoting the wonder of nature, LEAF will return to Griffith University’s Logan Campus for the city’s largest eco event.
LEAF brings together community members of all ages and from all walks of life to explore practical solutions to the problems of conservation and sustainable living through interactive workshops, hands on activities, and engaging talks led by top sustainability experts and conservationists.
Attendees will have eight different areas of the festival to explore; from mingling and engaging in discussion with guest speakers like Dr Karl, Ranger Stacey and Dr Chadden Hunter, live performances and meet and greets with children’s show icons Bluey and Bingo, and a number of workshops and interactive activities, to the free native plant giveaway, mobile thrift shops and eco markets.
Community events like this are often a great opportunity for local businesses to inform their customer base about products and services aligned with the theme of the event. Organisations may take such events as an opportunity to raise awareness by handing out promotional Pens and other products featuring their contact information and Logo Design.
LEAF 2025 will take place at the Logan Campus of the Griffith University on Sunday, June 1.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for Pens
