The appeal of country music is here to stay, and fans in the Slacks Creek area are lucky to witness the first Country Sounds evening in November at the Monte Ale House.
Introducing the inaugural Country Sounds 2023 event is homegrown talent Jake Whittaker, a force to be reckoned with on the Australian Country Music landscape. Showcasing songs new and old, including Later, which reached number 5 on the country chart, the audience will now be able to witness his talent live on stage.
Whittaker will be joined on the evening by Benny Elder. Originally from Brisbane, Elder is known for his heartfelt performances and stirring lyrics. Also joining the stage is Maddie Cail, hailing from the Gold Coast. Her energy and unusual lyrics make her an audience favourite, with songs such as Better Than I Am and Bad Girl Gone Good.
