The monthly Brisbane music and food truck festival, Eats and Beats, will be making its June pop-up at Logan Metro Sports Park at the end of the moment.
Situated in Crestmead, the Sports Park is the new home and training venue for Brisbane Roar soccer team, and also houses the operations and administration divisions of the club. There are plans to establish a Roar Football Academy within the precinct in the future. Logan has become a major centre for soccer administration with Football Brisbane planning to move to the Sports Park and Football Queensland having its headquarters in nearby Slacks Creek.
As well as enjoying the music and food, visitors to the June 29 event will be able to see the Roar women's squad training from 5:30 to 6:45 pm, take a tour of the BRFC facilities at the site and have autograph opportunities with Hyundai A-League team players from 5:45 to 7:00 pm. There will no doubt be the chance to buy club Promotional Products too. Youngsters can even have a kickabout as the Roar Active Program, and the inflatable fields will be on site as well.
The Eats and Beats festival is held most months on the last Friday at different locations around the City of Logan. It creates monthly opportunities for both entertainers and food vendors.
