Boney M came to prominence in the pop charts in the late 1970s, during the disco era. The original line-up comprised Maizie Williams, Bobby Farrell, Marcia Barrett and Liz Mitchell. Popular hits from the group include Ma Baker, Rivers of Babylon and Rasputin. The group disbanded initially in 1986. Thereafter, several incarnations of the group came about and in 2023, Liz Mitchell headed Boney M on a national US tour, supported by Bad Boys Blue and Samantha Fox.
For the farewell tour in Australia, the band will be joined by original member Maizie Williams. The catchy, dance floor-filler songs are sure to get the audience in a lively, party mood.
