Tribute to much loved rock singer

Fans of iconic rock music in and around the Fortitude Valley area may well want to buy tickets for the Meat Loaf concert in January.

Meat Loaf (Michael Lee Adey), the larger-than-life front man of the band bearing his name, was a legendary singer in the field of rock music. As a tribute, Rick Szabo will be leading an eight-piece band, having previously been the vocalist with the Australian Meat Loaf Tribute Show for five years until 2004. Szabo says:

“We will deliver this show exactly the way the fans want to hear it complete with the theatrics, screaming guitars and lots of vocals.”

Especially popular with fans are the hits from one of the most revered albums of all time, Bat Out of Hell. This album has sold over 43 million Copies and is indeed the best-selling album in Australia. Anthemic songs to surely be included on the night will likely include ‘Bat Out of Hell’, ‘You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)’ and ‘Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad’.
