Fans of a long-running American animated classic in the Fortitude Valley area may be keen to buy tickets an upcoming music event in June.
The Springfield Rave is a rave experience targeted at fans of The Simpsons. Everything in the Kickons venue will be Simpsons-centric for the evening. There will be a themed balloon photoshoot with photographers and videographers and lots of Simpson styled giveaways. Drinks will include Buzz Cola, Flaming Moe and Marge-a-rita. In addition, free stuff will include colourful Promotional Products such as a doughnut wall, a yellow glitter bar and glow-sticks. Additionally, there will be prizes for the best fancy dress.
The Simpsons is arguably the most loved and most enduring animated series to come out of the US. Beginning in 1989 as a spin-off from The Tracy Ullman Show, the familiar dysfunctional family consisting of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie is a parody of American culture and society and puts the human condition under the microscope. Still going strong today, there won’t be many people of a certain age who haven’t heard of or seen an episode of The Simpsons.
