There is a chance to find out more about Perth and raise money for charity this month with the Perth Rotary Ramble.
Described as a cross between a treasure hunt and The Amazing Race, the ramble helps participants to discover hidden parts of the city, as well as visiting some well-known landmarks. Over a period of four hours, teams will travel around Perth with only a map and mobile phone to help them, solve clues, and take part in challenges that can be used to accumulate points. The team with the highest combined points score will win a trip to Paris.
For Bellevue residents, it will be a good way to learn more about the nearby city of Perth while enjoying a day out with friends, family, or work colleagues.
The event also raises money for two charities. This year’s beneficiaries are the Channel 7 Telethon Trust, which supports young people in Western Australia, and Australian Rotary Health, which supports research into mental illness and other health issues.
Teams raising the most money get extra points to help them during the event and stand to win additional prizes, including a gift card for some of Perth's top restaurants and a gourmet chocolate hamper. Flyer printing and poster printing are great ways to publicise a fundraising campaign and the Flyers could be displayed in the local area or in local businesses.
The ramble takes place on Sunday, October 21. For more information, or to register for the event, visit the Rotary Ramble website.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
