New Years Day sees kids eat free

Fortitude Valley locals looking for somewhere to go and something to do on New Year’s Day, after the excitement and hubbub of Christmas week and the festivities of New Year’s Eve, need look no further than neighbouring Herston, which will be offering a number of activities for the whole family.

There will be many attractions for the children, including a jumping castle, outdoor games and a playground. The putt putt course and golf driving range will be open for enthusiasts. The bistro will be open for pizzas cooked in the wood-fire oven, and children’s Menus will also be available. Children will be provided with free food, provided an adult meal is also purchased.

If visitors are just looking for a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the scenery, the park provides views of Brisbane and the golf course.

Flyers and Signs may be used to advertise this event. Printing services may be required for Menus.

The activities will be provided on January 1 from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at Victoria Park Bar and Bistro on Herston Road, Herston. Visitors of all backgrounds and ages are welcome and entry will be free. Bookings for adult meals at the bistro must be made in advance, while children’s meals can be selected from the available options on the day.
