Fortitude Valley, Queensland is set to welcome the opening of another major hotel to help cater for a rising accommodation demand in the popular nightlife, lifestyle and secondary business district.
The new hotel will be ideally located to cater for exceptional demand created by local events, including those held at the nearby Brisbane Showgrounds, which attracts thousands of visitors regularly to exhibitions, visiting trade fairs and the annual Queensland Show.
General Manager of the new Rydges Fortitude Valley, Matthew Hurley, said the hotel will present an agricultural theme that aims to be a home in the city for regional Queenslanders.
He said its location opposite the convention centre and within the Showgrounds precinct would make it a top place for those guests who wanted to soak up the unique atmosphere and stay amid the many festivals and events held throughout the year in the popular area.
Brisbane CBD is also just one train stop away or a quick five-minute drive, adding to its appeal for those who seek a better rate than its city counterparts, yet the convenience of being close to all the facilities, shopping and entertainment venues.
Services such as digital printing of tourism maps will be a part of the personalised service available at the new venue, according to Hurley.
Marketing services have been busy promoting the hotel’s February 9 opening.
