Those living near to Fortitude Valley who love a good musical will probably want to take advantage of a celebration of musicals taking place at The Tivoli in Halloween week.
A Wicked Halloween Ball is arranged by Club Broadway and is a day of celebrating the phenomenon of musical theatre. The audience will be encouraged to sing and move along to talented singers who will be performing songs from iconic musicals such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cabaret and Hamilton. There will also be a whole raft of Disney classics to enchant both the young and the young at heart. The two events running on the day are age-appropriate, so both children and adults can come along and enjoy music especially curated for them.
The events particularly celebrate the musical Wicked as it is soon to become a much-awaited film. In both groups, there will also be prizes for the best fancy dress. It is an interactive event, curated to bring enjoyment to all attending.
Local events are often advertised within the community by the organisers making use of poster printing.
Club Broadway: A Wicked Halloween Ball is taking place on Saturday 26th October at The Tivoli, 52 Costin Street, Fortitude Valley. From 2pm, doors are open to all, whilst from 6.30pm, the venue is available for over 18s only. Tickets cost from $40.53. This is part of the Brisbane MELT Festival.
