Irish band The Script playing Perth as part of Australian tour

Fans of Irish band The Script have the chance to hear the group perform live next month.

The alternative rock band is playing at one of Perth's newest venues - the Perth Arena. Taking place in early April, it is one of just four dates on the Australian tour. The shows are part of the band’s world tour following the release of the latest album, titled ‘#3’, late last year.

After meeting as teenagers, and forming a band in Dublin, The Script now hasthree albums under its belt, several chart breaking singles, and a huge following in person and on the internet. The band has performed in Australia before, but this series of gigs will be its largest live shows in the country so far. Previous concerts have garnered the band rave reviews, so Perth fans are likely to be in for a good night out.

Fans from Bellevue could make the short drive to the arena, which has parking on site, or take public transport, the cost of which may be included in the ticket price. The show is suitable for all ages and there are seats in an alcohol-free zone available.

Keen supporters who would like to try to attract the attention of the band could try banner printing to get their message across in the huge arena. Remember, the venue does have restrictions on the size of Banners, however.

Tickets are still available, but numbers are limited. For more information, or to book tickets, visit the Perth Arena website. The Script will be in the city on Wednesday, April 3.
