Home-grown talent to rock out at The Zoo

Fans of rock music in the Fortitude Valley area may be keen to turn up at The Zoo to share in the Hometowns tour from Australian rock band Kingswood.


Kingswood has recently been undertaking a thirty-date tour of Europe, and charged with that success, the band is now undertaking a seventy-date tour of Australia, the largest one to date, on a specially adapted tour bus. ‘Burning Holes’ is the latest single the band has released which is to be found on the new album ‘Home,’ due out in February 2023. This album has a blues Americana feel and was mixed in Nashville, USA by sought-after sound engineer, Eddie Spear.


Formed in 2007 in Melbourne, alternative rock group Kingswood consists of lead vocalist Fergus Linacre, lead guitarist Alex Laska, bassist Jeremy Hunter and drummer Justin Debrincat. Having released four studio albums to date, the band has been nominated for AIR Awards, APRA Awards and ARIA Music Awards.


Promoters of rock concerts will often use local printing services to produce Posters that will alert fans to upcoming events, as well as band merchandise such as tee shirts and tote Bags that are often available to buy at music venues.


Kingswood (the Hometowns tour) is appearing at The Zoo, Fortitude Valley, QLD on Thursday 19th January 2023 at 8pm. Tickets cost $40.30.
