The DIY-minded residents of Perth will have plenty of inspiration to take in when the Better Living show comes to the area this weekend.
The show covers all aspects of building, renovating and redecorating with a particular focus on green living and sustainable work. This year, a new Spa and Outdoor Living exhibition has been added to the line-up, and includes ideas for sprucing up gardens and conservatories.
The shows aim to prove that sustainability can also be stylish with exhibitors offering everything from curtains to cookers, as well as providing expert advice on how to choose products and complete a project on budget. Many of the companies offer innovative sustainable products such as recycled wood and plastic composite decking.
Catalogue printing offers vendors a way to produce information which can be taken home. Visitors may want to see how products might fit with existing décor. In some situations, however, it will pay for visitors from Bellevue to make a quick decision, with some exhibitors offering show-only specials.
Visitors can also win one of several prizes, including kitchen appliances, family photo shoots, solar panel systems and family swimming pools.
The show takes place at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre in the city centre from Friday August 16 to Sunday August 18, with doors open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on each day.
In line with the sustainable theme, visitors are encouraged to use public transport to reach the event. For more information, visit the Better Living Home Show website.
