Fortitude Valley to host Mac Sabbath performance

Residents of Fortitude Valley will have the opportunity to see Mac Sabbath perform this December.

The band – fronted by Ronald Osbourne dressed in a bright red and yellow clown-like costume – describe its brand of music as ‘drive-thru metal’, and combines the music of Black Sabbath with plenty of fast food references.

The remainder of the band are also in themed costumes, one with a massive cheeseburger for a head, and another dressed as a large purple gumdrop.

Mac Sabbath is touring Australia with Silverback Touring, and will also perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. With songs like ‘Sweet Beef’ and ‘More Ribs’, the show is a one-of-a-kind mixture of metal and comedy.

The band formed in a fast food restaurant in California in 2013, and the members describe themselves as the newest form of entertainment and a ‘culinary disgrace’. Mac Sabbath enjoys a loyal following from fans around the world.

Musicians and music promoters will often use flyer printing services to promote upcoming gigs or events. Flyers may be left in music clubs or other venues that host live music performances.

Mac Sabbath will play at the Brunswick Street venue Crowbar on Saturday, December 5 from 7.30pm until 11.30pm. This is an age 18 and over event and tickets cost $51. See the Eventfinda website for more information or to purchase tickets.
