Fortitude Valley business owners can hear from the owner of local business at the next Lord Mayor's Business Forum.
One of the guest speakers at next month's forum will be Peter Savoff, the general manager of Emporium Hotels. He is in charge of hotels for property developer the Anthony John Group, including the boutique Emporium Hotel in Fortitude Valley, which was the company's first move into this sector. He will speak on the company's customer service ethos and how it contributes to the hotel's success.
The second speaker will be David Foote, chief executive officer of the Australian Country Choice Group, a beef supply chain company. Foote is also on the board of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, and will talk about the need for safe working environments.
With extensive industry knowledge, both speakers have a pedigree in business, so professional business card printing is sure to be essential for anyone attending.
The pair will be joined by regular forum speaker Cat Matson, who heads Brisbane City Council's digital strategy. At this meeting, she will discuss tools to help improve performance. Everyone attending is also in with a chance of winning a personal session with Matson to develop their own digital plan.
The forum will be held on Wednesday, December 9, at Riverside Receptions in nearby New Farm from 7:00 pm. The event is free and places can be booked through the Brisbane City Council website.
