The much-loved Christmas in Brisbane event will begin later this month with the annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree.
Fortitude Valley residents are encouraged to attend and enjoy the exciting array of free events. The tree lighting will start the annual event on 30th November at 6pm.
The jam-packed schedule includes fireworks, the Christmas Gift Market, carols by Twilight, a Christmas cinema at Southbank, the Enchanted Garden Christmas Lights at Roma St Parklands and the ever-popular Christmas Parade in the City.
The fun and free four-week festival is a favourite with families. Children of all ages will love the Christmas Parade which will run nightly from 7pm between 14-23 December. Another event to note is the Gold Lotto City Hall Lights in King George Square which will see a custom-designed Christmas story projected each evening onto the façade of the historic building 7-24 December. The Gift Market will be spread across three locations and will offer a unique and charming array of jewellery, homewares and Stationery. Santa Claus will make a daily appearance at the market which runs 14-23 December.
