Female entrepreneurs in Bellevue will have the chance to network and learn new skills when a special business exhibition comes to the area next week.
The inaugural Swan Women in Business expo will feature more than 30 businesswomen from across the region. It is being organised by the Swan Women in Business networking group, which was set up as part of the Swan Chamber of Commerce in 2010 to connect female entrepreneurs within the region. Its members are involved in everything from small home-based enterprises in the retail and beauty sectors to large-scale mining and hospitality companies.
The expo is expected to be a great way for businesses to showcase their products and services, and owners might like to consider using the help of brochure printing companies to create eye-catching informational Booklets to raise awareness. Banner printing could also be used to attract visitors from a distance.
As well as the business owners themselves, there will also be a number of expert advisors present on the day, all of whom will be available to answer questions from those who are thinking about starting their own companies.
The expo will be held at the Old Midland Courthouse in Helena Street on Thursday August 1st. Doors open at 9:00am and the minister will be speaking at 9.30am. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Entry is free, but gold coin donations are encouraged. All proceeds will be given to the East Metro branch of the Domestic Violence Agencies Network.
