Dolly Parton lovers in Prestons are preparing for an upcoming tribute show, which has been scheduled for the suburb in March.
The show features Kelly O’Brien, who is widely renowned as one of the most accomplished, authentic Dolly tribute artists and who has been endorsed by the Parton family.
O’Brien was the only finalist from the UK in #SearchForDolly, the global casting search for Dolly’s musical on Broadway, and has over two decades of experience performing on stage.
She comes with a perfect Tennessee accent, Dolly’s characteristic sparkle and warmth and a stand-out soprano voice. O’Brien aims to captures the heart, soul and look of the Queen of Country in all of her performances.
Audiences will be treated to a full-scale theatrical performance accompanied by a live band. The show will include a track list of Dolly’s greatest hits from the ‘60s until today, including “Islands in the Stream”, “I Will Always Love You”, “9 to 5” and “Jolene”.
