An event designed for young people to ice skate during the holidays is running at a rink operated by a local social club in Prestons.
Families in the area looking for fun activities in the winter school holidays can sign their children up to an event presented by Highlands Youth Services. Titled Ice Skating Fun Day, it offers young people in the suburb aged between 12 and 18 a chance to get active on the ice with their friends and learn new skills.
Local institutions and organisations running youth programmes sometimes call on dependable brochure printing services that can craft professional looking pamphlets that explain activities to parents and guardians.
No previous experience on the ice is required for young people to participate. As a result, the event is ideal for those of all abilities, from first time skaters to those who have already earned their confidence. Beginners will receive full support and skating lessons, and lunch will be provided for everyone attending.
The Ice Skating Fun Day will now run on Tuesday, July 7 at the Liverpool Catholic Club (LCC) Ice Rink. The event has a start time of 9 am and finishes at 4 pm, with the rink based at 424-458 Hoxton Park Road in Prestons.
This day offers free entry to all individuals of appropriate age who wish to skate.
