Prestons area to enjoy pop rock

An American band known for their unique brand of pop rock will play live in Sydney early next year.

Prestons residents with a passion for rock fuelled pop can attend a gig taking place at the International Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICC) Sydney in the new year. Late January will see the capital’s premier events venue welcoming US band X Ambassadors to the stage for a single-night performance.

Major venues based in state capitals like concert halls and conference centres sometimes employ banner printing services to create high-end signage advertising shows, symposiums and festivals.

Hailing from New York’s Ithaca, X Ambassadors consist of Sam Harris on lead vocals, Adam Levin on drums and Casey Harris on keyboard. While touring, the band will be joined by Russ Flynn, who plays bass and guitar.

Those attending the upcoming gig will get a chance to hear new material from the band’s 2024 release “Townie” along with classic tracks from their other three albums like "Unsteady", "Renegades" and "Jungle". The US three-piece also record songs for motion picture soundtracks. In 2023, they recorded “Deep End” for the film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

X Ambassadors will now play the ICC Sydney on January 30. The convention and exhibition centre is sited at 14 Darling Drive in Sydney and the concert will commence at 7 pm.
