Music fans in Prestons to hear Irish artist

A talented musician from Northern Ireland is set to perform a live set in Sydney later this year as part of his world tour.

Music lovers in Prestons and other suburbs of Sydney won’t want to miss the chance to see Bangor-born songsmith Foy Vance in concert this November. For one night only, the Northern Irish musician will be gracing the stage of the Metro Theatre. City venues in Australia presenting international talent often look to experienced poster printing services to create eye-catching promotional advertisements.

The upcoming show in Sydney is part of Vance’s odyssey to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of his award-winning and best-selling album, “Joy of Nothing”, which was released in 2013 to critical acclaim. The epic tour will take the performer across the globe, and the Sydney gig will be one of three rare headline shows Down Under. The trio of shows will mark Vance’s first Australian concert date since 2016, when he enjoyed sold-out performances.

Joy of Nothing was recorded on the west coast of Ireland in Donegal and was Vance’s sophomore release. It won the Northern Ireland Music Prize, and Q Magazine compared him to prime Van Morrison.

Foy Vance will now be on stage at the Metro Theatre on Wednesday, November 22. The theatre is located at G2/624 George Street in Sydney, and the show will run from 6pm to 9pm.
