A successful social club in Prestons is hosting a face-to-face development programme for trainers.
Prestons professionals in the hospitality trade can improve their skillset with an upcoming course. The suburb’s Liverpool Catholic Club is presenting a single-day course on training and coaching in a club environment this April, which will be conducted in person.
While participants are asked to bring a portable device like a laptop or tablet with them to carry out class activities, workbooks will also be supplied.
Course organisers often access training resources from professional booklet and brochure printing services that can create branded learning aids.
The programme will define training, coaching and mentoring and how these key activities feed into each other. Students will learn the importance of workplace coaches and trainers and how they can create standards that drive consistency in all aspects of a club, including bars, cafés, bistros and gaming areas.
The upcoming course is designed to complement the teachings of another course called ‘Team Building for Club Staff’. If possible, participants are advised to complete this course before attending the April event.
The Trainer Development Program For Clubs will start at 8.30 am and run until 4.30 pm on Tuesday, April 8. It will take place within the Liverpool Catholic Club, which can be found at 424 to 458 Hoxton Park Road in Prestons.
