Hilary Pederson from Sydney will be presented with a Champion of the Royal Easter Show award this April.
The award will be presented by the Royal Agricultural Society and is in appreciation of her hard work and commitment to the show.
Each year, the society acknowledges 15 people from across NSW who have made a notable contribution in promoting competitions and exhibitions from the rural community at the Easter show.
Hilary’s love of the show began when she entered her mother’s dog at her first show in 1957 and since then, she has won many prizes including the Breeding Best Puppy in Show award. She says she loves meeting with exhibitors and has enjoyed the many friendships that she has made along the way.
Hilary is also a well-known dog-show judge and has been affiliated with the Liverpool District’s & All-Breeds Kennel Club for more than 50 years.
Robert Ryan, the Royal Agricultural Society President, congratulated Pederson on her outstanding contributions over many years and says he appreciates all the efforts made to highlight Australian agriculture at the Easter show.
Print shops can assist exhibitors to market their events with hundreds of thousands of people attending the show each year.
As well as an award ceremony, champions will march in the Grand Parade in the Show’s main arena on April 15th at 4:30pm.Get a Free Quote for Print
