South Asian festival to take place in Liverpool

Liverpool locals are preparing for a popular cultural festival returning to the area in September.

Hosted by Liverpool City Council, the event will provide a diverse sample of the sights, flavours and sounds from Southern Asian countries like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Nepal.

This one-day festival will feature live music, cultural dances and storytelling on the event’s cultural stage. There will also be a market, with vendors selling traditional garments, handmade jewellery and more.

Throughout the day, craft workshops will be run, and there will be an Adventure Zone with games and amusement rides for all the family to enjoy.

Attendees can participate in a sari fashion segment too, featuring intricate designs created by local designers and importers. There will also be a Curry Cook-Off competition, with cooks in South-West Sydney battling it out to achieve the best flavours.

Varied stallholders will provide diverse flavours of the region, with delicacies like pani puri, biryani, pakoras and mango lassi on offer.

Organisers of cultural festivals like this can utilise professional Logo Design services to boost their marketing. A contemporary logo stands out and attracts more interest from the community.

The Starry Sari Night festival will be held on Saturday, 27 September. The venue will be Little India, George Street in Liverpool. The festival begins at 10:00 AM and finishes at 10:00 PM. Entry is free, and more information is available on the event’s website.
