Online enterprise training comes to Liverpool

Liverpool is set to host an introductory experience for those interested in starting their own e-commerce enterprise later this year.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners operating online in Liverpool can learn the basics of e-commerce at an upcoming event taking place in the city this November. Dubbed the “E-Commerce Beginners Workshop”, the learning experience offers professional insight on how to get started selling products online.

The workshop is presented by Empower Digital, which was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Adam and Carmel Wooding. Adam has 15 years’ experience in e-commerce and web design, and understands how powerful an asset they can be for small businesses. Carmel is an educator with a passion for lifelong learning, and a firm believer in the potential everyone has in succeeding using digital tools.

Instructors teaching new skills to students often carry professionally designed Business Cards to hand out at events for those seeking additional training.

Those participating will learn what the right platform might be for their business and how to plan out a unique e-commerce presence. How to drive site traffic and make sales will also be covered, along with what makes a successful online store.

The E-Commerce Beginners Workshop will be presented at the Yarpa Hub on Thursday 9 November. The hub is sited at Level 7/203-209 on Northumberland Street in Liverpool, and the workshop will start at 9.30am and end at 3.30pm.
