The NSW Government has committed to spend more on families and healthcare in the upcoming state budget.
The government is set to spend approximately $170 million on healthcare programs that will support families struggling with the rising costs of health-related expenses. Print shops can be used to create informative material for available programs as well as other initiatives.
It is expected that the funding will allow for an increase in the number of children’s operations to be carried out with an expected 8,000 more surgeries performed. At least 136,000 children in schools will have access to a fleet of mobile dental vans to be rolled out at a cost of $70 million dollars in future funding.
Services for IVF will be made more accessible with $42 million being spent and another $9.6 million will allow support for people impacted by eating disorders.
Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said that the government had promised a better quality of life for people in NSW and was committed to honouring that pledge. He further commented that easing the stress that many families face when it comes to healthcare was key to acting on the government’s election promise.
The budget will focus on family-friendly initiatives and has already rolled out the Baby bundle, with Liverpool hospital delivering 1,590 new parent bundles to date.Get a Free Quote for Print
