An ongoing programme for children at a museum in Liverpool will soon host a special seasonal edition in honour of Christmas.
Families with small children in Liverpool on the lookout for festive activities won’t have far to go in December. The suburb’s respected Liverpool Regional Museum and Family History Centre has announced a Christmas-themed instalment of one of its most popular events designed for little ones.
Dubbed “Little Curators: Under 5’s at the Museum”, the museum event is designed for children who are aged between two and five along with their parents and carers. Educational morning sessions, the monthly events take children on a fun and interactive expedition of the museum, where they get an opportunity to learn about a specific item included in the museum’s permanent collection.
The sessions also feature hands-on learning experiences that often include play, music, crafting and games.
Organisers of activities for children sometimes reach out to capable Print shops for branded worksheets and other supporting materials. The December edition of the regular programme will see all attending get an opportunity to make special decorations for Christmas.
The event will now be held on Wednesday, December 4 at the Liverpool Regional Museum and Family History Centre. The session starts at 10.30 am and runs until 11.30 am, and the museum is situated at 462 Hume Highway at the corner of Congressional Drive in Liverpool.Get a Free Quote for Print
