An event designed to encourage an interest in business among girls in Sydney will be taking place this winter in the city.
Girls from Liverpool keen to learn more about running their own business will soon have the chance to participate in a major event taking place in the state capital this August. Entitled The Girls in Business Camp Sydney 2023, the programme is designed for girls aged between 10 and 16 and will teach them business basics like understanding the different types and Forms of businesses, finance, marketing and business strategy.
Every girl attending the camp will get the opportunity to name their company, create a unique mission statement, design personal Business Cards, create a logo, slogan, and tagline, draw up a marketing plan and a finance plan complete with a budget and produce a pitch to secure investment.
Once their business has been created, each student CEO will get a chance to pitch their enterprise to a group of their peers acting as investors, to obtain funding for their new fledgling start-up.
