Locals in Liverpool and the surrounding suburbs are getting excited for the NAIDOC Family Fun Day, which is returning to the area in July.
The Family Fun Day will be held within the national NAIDOC Week, an annual observance that celebrates the culture, history and achievements of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This annual event will feature interactive and informative activities for parents and children alike.
Attendees will enjoy performances from First Nations artists, participate in cultural workshops, explore the stalls and exhibits on offer, and connect with local vendors and services in the community.
There will also be free children’s activities hosted by organisations in the area, and giveaways for families to take home.
Organisers of community events can engage with Print shops to create contemporary, inviting and effective advertising. Professional printers can help event hosts design and Print materials that attract interest and draw attendance from a wider audience.
The NAIDOC Family Fun Day will be held on Wednesday, 9 July at the Edwin Wheeler Reserve, Maxwells Avenue in Sadleir. The event will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
Attendance is free, and a barbeque will also be available while food lasts. Limited parking will be offered on-site and on nearby streets. For more information on this event, visit Liverpool City Council’s website.Get a Free Quote for Print
