Liverpool area to enjoy retro event

An evening event designed to take people back in time will be taking place on the water in Sydney harbour this spring.

Residents of Liverpool seeking an original night out can enjoy a trip into the past on a Sydney Harbour cruise later this year. The three-hour experience in November will feature food, drinks and music from the 1970s to the 1990s.

Companies running cruises often enlist the aid of professional banner printing services to create eye-catching signage that shows passengers where to board.

Those attending the old-school-style party cruise are invited to dress to impress in the fashion from their favourite decades whether its bellbottoms and sweat bands from the 70s, day-glow spandex of the 80s or flannel shirts from the 90s. A skilled retro DJ will be on board spinning classic tracks from all the eras allowing all the partygoers to dance the night away.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of drinks from the fully licensed bar as well as finger food and sit-down dining at their table. Buffet food includes skewers of Mediterranean chicken, mini quiches, vegetarian spring rolls, chilli lime prawns and gourmet pies and much more. There will also be opportunities to tempt taste buds with retro candy bars.

The Retro Dinner Cruise will set sail at 7.15 pm on Friday, November 22. Tickets are prices at $87.63 per person and the meeting point for passengers is The Promenade on Lime Street in Sydney.
